METHOD · 001

RoRo

Roll-on / Roll-off. Cars are driven onto a dedicated car carrier. Fastest and cheapest, but the car sits on an open deck alongside other vehicles.

  • · Best for daily drivers, non-running only with approval
  • · Sub-$50k value is the usual cutoff
  • · 10-14 days JP → LA, ~12 days DE → NYC
METHOD · 002

Container

20ft (single car) or 40ft (up to 3 cars shared). The car is strapped inside a sealed steel box. Higher cost, but paint, wheels and cabin are protected.

  • · Best for high-value classics, project cars, low-mileage
  • · Shared 40ft = middle-ground price
  • · 14-21 days port-to-port
